The company provides bulk transportation services to the chemical industry, operating out of their primary location in Bedford Park, which has a full maintenance facility. GLS also operates satellite locations in PA, MI, and MN. We believe the acquisition of GLS provides QC with the ability to acquire a premier Chicago location, expand our offerings to additional markets, including Minneapolis, and realize numerous other benefits from combining the strengths of both companies.
The acquisition of GLS Transport was a natural fit for Quality Carriers Inc.
