Randy Strutz
President
Randy Strutz is President of Quality Carriers, the largest bulk chemical trucking carrier in North America and is based at their HQ in Tampa, FL. Randy has been in logistics for over 20 years after a career in accounting and manufacturing, spending 15 years in the Columbus, OH area before moving to Tampa. He has four quadruplet sons.
Christopher Garrand
Chief Financial Officer
Chris began his role at Quality Carriers in 2016, with prior Finance positions at CPG multinationals such as Nestle’, Novartis and ConAgra Foods, including international assignments in Russia and Latin America. During personal time, Chris has enjoyed practicing various Martial Arts for four decades.
Anne Laughlin
General Counsel
In her role as General Counsel and Corporate Secretary, Anne oversees the Legal, Human Resources and Environmental Services departments. Anne has been with QC since 2018. Prior to joining QC, Anne was a senior business attorney at The Dow Chemical Company and, prior to Dow, was a law firm associate at multiple BigLaw firms in Washington, D.C. When not working (and sometimes while working), Anne tries to keep up with her very energetic son, and enjoys traveling and baking.
Don Benoit
VP - Operations
Don started in the tank truck industry in 1986 in Rahway, NJ and has been involved in truck transportation since. Don has spent most of his career in liquid bulk transportation, he has also spent time managing Dry Bulks, Van, Flatbed, Reefer and Curtainside fleets throughout his career. Don joined QC at its inception when Chemical Leaman and Montgomery Tank Lines merged in 1998, rejoining the organization in 2010 after leaving in 2004. In his spare time, Don is an avid boater and enjoys spending time with his wife of 43 years, Ann.
Scott Hunt
VP - Fleet Operations
Scott joined Quality Carriers in 2017, and has been in the trucking industry for nearly four decades. During his career he has operated in a number of areas including operations, customer service, and maintenance. Away from the office, Scott is an avid guitar and fiddle player and collector.
Fred Marsicano
VP - Safety & Security
Fred joined Quality Carriers in 2019 and has been in the transportation industry since 1986. Fred has held various operational and safety assignments during his career. In his free time, Fred enjoys spending time with his wife, children and grandchildren.
Neil Bartley
VP - West Coast
Neil joined QC in 2020 and has been in chemical manufacturing and distribution for over two decades. In his spare time, Neil is an avid cyclist and motorcyclist.
John McAvoy
VP - Insurance & Affiliate Relations
John has been in affiliate relations since 2000, and has been VP of Insurance since 2022. John’s insurance background goes back to the 90s with MTL. John has been part of the QC family for over 40 years and is a die hard Chicago Bears fan. In his spare time, he enjoys to go out on the boat and hit the beach with his family and friends.
Alok Kumar
VP - Multimodal Solutions
Alok leads QC’s rail based transportation and he oversees Quality’s door to door Intermodal and railcar based Multimodal product offerings. He joined QC in September 2021. Prior to joining QC, Alok spent 19 years in the transportation and logistics industry specializing in Intermodal and Supply Chain. Alok has held various executive level positions throughout his career and his time at XPO Logistics. In his free time, Alok enjoys travel, festivals and sports events.
Amy Holcomb
VP - Customer Account Management
Amy has been in the field of Business Management/Finance since 2009 and has been with Quality Carriers since 2018. Amy enjoys developing new ways to analyze data and give others the tools to be able to make processes easier and more efficient. In her free time, Amy enjoys spending time with her family – between her son’s travel hockey team and her daughter’s high school Color Guard, she is always on the move.
Kevin Elliott
VP - Pricing
Kevin has been in the transportation industry for over 40 years, and joined Quality Carriers in 2014. Over the course of his career, Kevin has worked at a number of railroads, trucking and logistics companies in various leadership roles. Kevin has held positions managing pricing and marketing departments.
Bill McParland
VP - Claims Management
Bill is our Vice President of Claims and oversees the Claims and Skytank departments. He has been in Claims Management for over 25 years and is passionate about spending time with his four children. When he’s not at home, you can find him on his motorcycle, boating, hiking, golfing, and traveling the world.
Jason Werner
VP - Multimodal Operations
Jason has been in bulk tanker logistics for the past 24 years. Over those 24 years he has spent half of them with QC, with 7 years as a company employee and 5 years as an affiliate partner.
Nicole Gabel
VP - Process Improvement
Nicole has been in the technology field for over two decades and Quality Carriers in 2005. In her free time, you can find her constantly working on home improvement projects, or at the soccer field or ice rink cheering on her two boys.
